If you wish, you can even become part of the crew and actively take part in sailing the ship. Hoist the sails, assist with the manoeuvres or even take the helm yourself – a truly authentic sailing experience. For the more adventurous, there is even the opportunity to climb the mast and enjoy Mallorca from a truly unique perspective.

Of course, participation is entirely optional. If you prefer to relax, simply enjoy the unique atmosphere on board, soak up the sunshine on deck and listen to the gentle sound of the sea.

A Journey Through History

The Rafael Verdera was launched on 15 April 1841 and is now the oldest active sailing ship in Spain. For more than 180 years, this extraordinary traditional sailing vessel has sailed the Mediterranean, combining maritime history with unforgettable experiences.

In the past, the ship transported goods between the Balearic Islands and the ports of Barcelona, Valencia, Marseille, Genoa, Naples and Algiers. Today, the Rafael Verdera fascinates visitors from around the world with its unique charm and remarkable history.
